João Salvador Fernandes
Is an assistant professor at Instituto Superior Técnico, Technical University of Lisbon, where he got his PhD in 1997. His main scientific interests are in the fields of corrosion, biomaterials, surface coatings and electrochemical techniques, with special relevance to Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy. Recently he has organized two courses on EIS, attended by Portuguese and other European students.
